I have lived in the village since 1964. I worked in the former aluminium factory for forty years in various jobs and departments. I have been a councillor for many years and think the Conwy Valley is one of the nicest places to live in.

I moved to Dolgarrog nearly 7 years ago and love living here. My wife and I moved from Blackpool where I was a butcher manager for 40 years. I have now retired but do some part-time work for Marilyn and Emlyn at their shops at Tal y Bont and Trefriw, and I have been made very welcome by all the local people. We just love living in Dolgarrog.

Details to be added soon

I retired in 2011 and moved to Dolgarrog, with my wife Ruth, in 2021 following a period of renting in Cardiff and Conwy. We really appreciate the welcome we have received from those around us and enjoy the beauty of the area in which we live. We are regular church attendees at the Church in Wales. Following retirement, I was a Hospice Chaplin at Hospice of the Good Shepherd and a St Peters Café Chaplin in Chester for 8 years.

Prior to retirement I worked as Manager/Director of Estates for a number of organisations including the Chemical Industry, Manchester Colleges and the NHS at a major hospital in Liverpool. I was also Chairman of the Greater Manchester Health and Safety Group.

I am so looking forward to supporting the community in any anyway I can.

I moved to Dolgarrog in 2020 following a visit with my family, we instantly fell in love with the village. I previously owned my own manufacturing business for 14 years in Manchester. We have loved getting to know the people in the village and have been made to feel very welcome. I look forward to helping in the community where I can.
